A special point of the meeting was the discussion about the Jubilee Year 2025, which the meeting participants discussed with Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendoça, Prefect of the Vatican Dicastery for Culture and Education. Cardinal Mendoça was particularly interested in the activities of FIUC as well as certain continental associations, and part of the conversation was devoted to the plans for the Jubilee of the university students, which will be celebrated in October 2025. Cardinal Mendoça thanked the governing council of FIUC for everything it does for the Church and society, especially in the field of higher education.
