US Ambassador H.E. Nathalie Rayes visited our University

On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Croatia, H. E. Nathalie Rayes visited our University, where she held a meeting with students in the "Bl. Alojzije Card. Stepinac" hall.

Ambassador Rayes gave a lecture to more than a hundred students about her career path, experiences, challenges and knowledge she gained from her childhood in a small village in Venezuela to the city administration in Los Angeles, work in the private sector and ambassadorship. In the "Q&A" section of the event, students asked questions and talked with the ambassador about the differences and similarities of life, education and culture in America and Croatia, and colleague Nikolina Paić from the embassy informed them about study and scholarship opportunities in the USA.

After the lecture by H.E. Rayes met with the rector prof. Željko Tanjić, PhD, Vice-rector for teaching, prof. Roko Mišetić, PhD, and the Head of the Public Relations Office dr. sc. Suzana Obrovac Lipar.
