History students as part of the course "Ancient Military History" visited cinema

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, students of the 1st year of the university graduate study in History visited the cinema Cinestar Zagreb and were accompanied by prof. Bilić-Dujmušić, PhD, and Assoc. prof. Darko Periša, PhD, and watched the movie Gladiator II.

After the screening, they jointly analyzed the historical aspects of the film, comparing the depicted events and circumstances with real historical facts, which contributed to deepening knowledge and critical thinking and the importance of interpreting history in popular culture.
