The competitive season for our volleyball and futsal players has started

In the first two rounds of the competition within the UNIsportZG women's volleyball league, women's futsal league and men's futsal league, our athletes recorded their first performances this season.

The volleyball players opened the season with a very good performance against a demanding opponent, a very good PBF team, and were defeated by a close result in both sets (21:25) with 0:2 in sets. Good games and preparations paid off and in the second round they defeated the FFZG team with a score of 2:0 in sets.

The futsal players, although we are already used to excellent results, continue to delight us with good games and excellent results. In the first round, they beat FPZ with a score of 3:1, and in the second round they were even more convincing, defeating SF with a score of 5:0. In both rounds, our Marija Rodić was declared the most useful player of the match. Along with her, Mihaela Ćurić (two goals) and Gabrijela Bajić and Veronika Fistrić scored goals in these two matches.

In the first round, the men's team dropped points against a very good FSB team in a tense match at the very end. In an extremely sporty and tense battle between two opponents, our futsal players scored a goal three minutes before the end, but they could not withstand the pressure that followed and conceded three goals. The boys left an extraordinary impression with their approach, effort and play, which was paid off in the next round, where they defeated the EFF team with a convincing score of 7:1. The scorers in the first two rounds were Antonio Bucat (three goals), Vid Belčić (three goals), Niko Marić (two goals) and Petar Peko, and our captain Vid Belčić was declared the most valuable player in the match against EFF.
