Overview of the Program
Academic Title: University Bachelor of Sociology (univ. bacc. soc.)
Program Duration: 6 semesters
Degree Completion Requirements:
- At least 180 ECTS credits and successful completion of all exams for the single-major program.
- At least 90 ECTS credits and successful completion of all exams for the double-major program.
In each semester, students enroll in mandatory and elective courses (minimum of 30 ECTS credits). To provide a comprehensive understanding of sociology, the program is divided into several course groups, including methodological, statistical, theoretical courses, and courses in applied sociology.
Assessment typically takes place throughout the semester, with continuous evaluations such as quizzes, tests, and various activities during lectures, seminars, and exercises (70% of the final grade). The remaining 30% comes from the final exam. This model encourages consistent learning and helps students master the curriculum more effectively.
