Professor Labaš elected president of the HRT Programming Council

On Friday, May 9, 2025, at the 28th regular session of the HRT Program Council, Prof. Danijel Labaš, Head of the University Department of Communication sciences, was elected President of the Council.

Other members of the Program Council are Assoc. Prof. Ozana Ramljak, Deputy President of the Council, Dr. Sc. Josip Čerina, Marko Gregur, Dr. Sc. Luka Šeput, Dr. Sc. Edib Ahmetasevic, Assoc. Prof. Art., Damir Bučević, Sanja Sarnavka, Vitomir Šimić, Dean Šoša and Ivan Dorian Molnar.

The HRT Program Council represents and protects the public interest by conducting program supervision and improving radio and audiovisual programs, as well as other audio and audiovisual and multimedia services. The Council has eleven members. The Croatian Parliament elects and dismisses nine members of the HRT Council. The Croatian Parliament elects members based on a public call published and implemented by the Committee for Information, Informatization and Media of the Croatian Parliament. Two members of the HRT Council are elected and dismissed by journalists and other HRT employees who creatively participate in the creation of HRT programs in the manner provided for by the HRT Act and the HRT Statute.
