Prof. emeritus Victor Castellani from the University of Denver gave a lecture on the elements of social group life in Rome

On Monday, December 9, 2024, history students at the Catholic University of Croatia had the opportunity to listen to a lecture by professor emeritus Victor Castellani from the University of Denver (Colorado).

Professor Castellani published a large number of scientific works in classical philology, and he gave special lectures to students of history with reference to Juvenal and Plautus, through whose works he presented elements of the life of social groups in Rome.

This is not the first time Professor Castellani has visited our University, he did so in March 2023 when he gave the lecture "Sophocles: Poet and Politician".
