Leali Osmančević, PhD, at teacher mobility in Pécs
As part of the CEEPUS mobility network, Leali Osmančević from the University Department of Communication Studies visited the University of Pécs from 17 to 21 March. She gave guest lectures for international undergraduate and graduate students on the topics 'Visual Communication in the Digital Age: Visual Identity, Branding, and Media Visuals – Case Study of Baby Lasagna & Eurovision 2024' and 'Media Studies Qualitative Research Methods: Narrative Analysis, Techniques, and Uses', as part of which she also led a research practicum.

During her stay, she participated in thematic meetings on project activities and international mobility with the head of the Department of Communication and Media Studies, Dr. habil. Rita Glózer. She also met with representatives of the student initiative Popular Culture Association (Pop Culture Association – COMMONLINE) and discussed with them possibilities for cooperation, support for young researchers, current challenges in the field of media ethics and media literacy, and the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence in communication sciences.

The University of Pécs (Pécsi Tudományegyetem) is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Hungary. It was founded in 1367, making it one of the oldest universities in Europe. Today, it is a modern academic center with more than 24,000 students, including more than 5,000 international students.
