Faculty Members of the Faculty of Law Participate in the 32nd IVR World Congress of Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy

Professor Vanja-Ivan Savić and Teaching Assistant Karla Ressler from the Faculty of Law at the Catholic University of Croatia participated in the 32nd IVR World Congress of Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy, which was held from June 28 to July 2, 2026, at Kadir Has University in Istanbul.

They took part in a special workshop focused on the expressive function of law, where they presented their research. Professor Savić delivered a presentation titled "Law as Cosmetics: Phrases with or Without Meaning," while assistant Ressler presented a segment of her doctoral research titled "The Expressive Function in European Law."
