Agreement Signed with the Representation of the European Commission Enabling Student Internships
On Tuesday, 8 October 2025, a meeting was held at our University with representatives of the European Commission Representation in the Republic of Croatia.

The European Commission was represented by Zrinka Ujević, Head of the Representation, Andrea Čović Vidović, Deputy Head and Head of the Media Team, and Katarina Dobranović, Head of the Administration Department. Representing the Catholic University of Croatia (CUC) were Prof. Željko Tanjić, Ph.D., Rector; Assoc. Prof. Kristian Turkalj, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Law; Prof. Danijel Labaš, Ph.D., Head of the Department of Communication Studies; Iva Mikulandra Barkiđija, Head of the Dean’s Office at the Faculty of Law; and Ema Elizabeta Pokopac, Associate at the University’s Legal Office.
On this occasion, a Cooperation Agreement was signed, enabling students of the Catholic University of Croatia to undertake internships at the European Commission Representation in Croatia, where they will gain insight into the work and functioning of the Representation.
Guests from the European Commission were also presented with the university textbook Media and Disinformation, funded by the European Commission, as well as a working version of the textbook European Union Law for Students and Practitioners, which is in its final stages of preparation and is expected to be published by March 2026.
The meeting concluded with agreements on future activities and forms of cooperation with the European Commission Representation, including student internships, joint promotion of textbooks, events at the Experience Europe Centre, and co-organized activities at both CUC and the Representation.
