Orientation Day for the new generation of Faculty of Medicine students

On Friday, September 18, 2026, an Orientation Day was held for the sixth generation of students enrolled in the integrated undergraduate and graduate study programme in Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the Catholic University of Croatia.

The new students were welcomed at the beginning of their academic journey by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Dalibor Karlović, PhD, Vice-Dean for Teaching and Students Assistant Professor Elvira Lazić Mosler, PhD, and Vice-Dean for Quality Associate Professor Marija Ćurlin, PhD. They presented the study programme and teaching plan and introduced the students to the key activities scheduled in the Academic Calendar.

Following the main part of the programme, the students had an opportunity to become better acquainted with the facilities where they will spend their student days. They toured the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Medicine, laboratories, and the anatomy lecture hall, and visited the Student Affairs Office, University Library, University Chaplaincy, Rectorate, and Aula Magna. The Orientation Day concluded with a gathering at the Manducat student restaurant.
