Announcement of the Scientific and Professional Conference “Growing Up with Screens: Five Years of Insights into Family, Technology, and Child Development”

The research group of the D.E.C.I.D.E. project is organizing a scientific and professional conference entitled “Growing Up with Screens: Five Years of Insights into Family, Technology, and Child Development,” dedicated to presenting findings on family life, digital technology, and child development, based on five years of research conducted within the D.E.C.I.D.E. project.

The conference program includes presentations on children’s and families’ digital everyday life, a mini-symposium on the results of doctoral research carried out within the project, and concludes with an open discussion and Q&A session titled “Conversations Without ‘Filters’.” All presentations will be delivered by members of the D.E.C.I.D.E. project research group.

The conference will take place on 11 February 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., via the Zoom platform.

The event is open to all interested participants and is particularly intended for early childhood educators, teachers, university lecturers, psychologists, pedagogues, educational rehabilitators, social pedagogues, and parents/guardians. Participation in the conference will be accredited by the Croatian Psychological Chamber, the Croatian Chamber of Educational Rehabilitators, the Croatian Chamber of Psychotherapists, the Croatian Chamber of Social Pedagogues, and the Croatian Chamber of Social Workers.
