Nexus Club and Head of the University Department of Sociology Meeting Held: Planning and Strengthening Cooperation

On Monday, April 14, 2025, a meeting was held between the Nexus Sociology Student Club and the Head of the University Department of Sociology, Assoc. Prof. Ivana Brstilo Lovrić. The meeting was dedicated to planning future activities and further strengthening cooperation and strengthening collaboration between engaged students and the Department.
 

Special emphasis was placed on designing the Club's communication and promotional activities on social networks, with the aim of increasing the visibility of student initiatives and popularizing the profession itself.

Let us also mention that the Nexus Club and the University Department of Sociology are organizing two upcoming roundtables: the first, on the topic of the experiences of sociologists employed in education, will be held on May 5, 2025 at 5:00 PM in the "Blaženi Alojzije kard. Stepinac" hall, while the second, dedicated to the experiences of sociologists in the public administration system, will follow on May 26, 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. All interested parties are invited to both events.

The meeting was attended by the leaders of the Nexus Club, graduate students of sociology Antonio Treppo and Pero Josip Maslać, who also serves as the president of the HKS Student Union, as well as numerous students of all study years, including students of the doctoral study Sociology: Values, Identity and Social Changes in Croatian Society.
