Blood Donation Drive Held at the Catholic University of Croatia

On Thursday, 23 October 2025, the Faculty of Health Sciences organized the autumn blood donation drive in cooperation with the Croatian Institute of Transfusion Medicine and the City Red Cross Society of Zagreb.
 

Numerous students, faculty members, and staff of our University took part in the event, demonstrating their spirit of humanity, solidarity, and unity in helping others. According to the records of the Croatian Institute of Transfusion Medicine, 63 donors participated in the drive, with 17 of them donating blood for the very first time, which was especially encouraging.

The event was conducted smoothly and successfully in a pleasant and motivating atmosphere created by the donors, volunteers, and organizers. We sincerely thank everyone who once again contributed to saving lives through their act of giving. The next blood donation drive is planned for spring 2026.
