Assoc. Prof. Filip Galović at the international scientific conference "Rijeka Philological Days"

The famous International Scientific Conference "Rijeka Philological Days" was held at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Rijeka from 10 to 12 April 2025. The conference, which has a long tradition and has been held since 1994, this year brought together numerous international and domestic linguists, who presented the results of their scientific research through as many as a hundred presentations.

Our Assoc. Prof. Filip Galović also participated in this conference with a presentation entitled "A Look at the Local Dialects of Slavonian Posavina Today", in which he presented the essential linguistic features of Posavina dialects today, based on recent field research. The dialectology session was led by Assoc. Prof. Filip Galović from the Catholic University of Croatia in Zagreb and Assoc. Prof. Marina Marinković from the Department of Croatian Studies, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Rijeka. The preparation of the collection "Riječki filološki dani 14" is expected in the near future, which will present valuable recent contributions by Croatian and international linguists
