Student Laura Lazić Visited Rome as Part of the Religious Formation Project for Young Media Professionals
As part of the one-year project Faith Communication in Digital World organized by the Dicastery for Communication, 15 participants from 11 countries around the world spent a week, from 12 to 19 September, in Rome. The goal of the project is to provide religious formation for young people under 35 working in media serving the Catholic Church.
The project also includes Laura Lazić, a second-year graduate student of Communication Studies, specializing in Intercultural Communication and Journalism. The week spent in Rome was the first opportunity for the participants to meet in person, as the project’s lectures are held online via video calls once a week.
During that week, participants attended the general audience with Pope Leo XIV, visited the Vatican media, the Holy See Press Office, the Dicastery for the Eastern Churches, and the Pontifical Missionary Union, as well as several Roman basilicas.
