Our Student Athletes Welcomed by the President of the Republic of Croatia

The traditional reception for student athletes was held once again this year at the Office of the President of the Republic of Croatia, honouring individuals who achieved notable results at international university competitions during the past academic year.

Among the invited students was Luna Keretić, a student of our Department of Psychology, who won a bronze medal at the European University Rowing Championship in September together with Anamarija Popko, Dora Bjelkanović and Sara Žuvanić.

The reception brought together numerous athletes, coaches, and representatives of universities and academic institutions from across Croatia. On behalf of the Croatian Academic Sports Federation, the international achievements of Croatian students were presented, once again demonstrating the high level of both athletic and academic excellence.

In his address, President Zoran Milanović congratulated all student athletes on their outstanding results and emphasised the importance of university sport as a space where academic excellence, discipline, and dedication to sport come together.
