Men’s and Women’s Futsal Teams Open the New Season

Over the past weekend (8–9 November 2025), the men’s futsal team kicked off the new competitive season in spectacular fashion, achieving one of their biggest wins ever by defeating VEF 13:1! The Most Valuable Player of the match was team captain Vid Belčić, who scored an impressive five goals, while Petar Peko, Noa Kanižaj, Fran Detić, Bono Sršen, Fran Blagović, Stjepan Majcan, and Antonio Bucat also found the net. 

The team’s outstanding performance reflected their strong commitment and hard work during the pre-season. They continue to train intensively — in greater numbers than ever — and are preparing for the challenges that lie ahead.

The women’s futsal team, which underwent a generational change this season, faced a tougher task in their season opener. Against the experienced and favoured FER team, our players put up an excellent fight but ultimately fell 9:3. Antonija Čmarec and Ivana Bitunjac scored for our team.
 

Players from previous seasons, who had been key members of the squad, attended the match and expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance. With their guidance, the new players have integrated seamlessly into the team — a promising sign for the season ahead.
