Maja Žutić, PhD, Participates in COST Action Meetings in Iceland
Maja Žutić, PhD, a faculty member from the University Department of Psychology, participated in the official meetings of the COST Action TREASURE (CA22114) Maternal Perinatal Stress and Adverse Outcomes in the Offspring: Maximising infants' development, held from June 3 to 5, 2026, at the University of Akureyri in Iceland.

The COST Action TREASURE brings together a large number of scientists and experts in the field of reproductive mental health with the goal of developing insights into stress during pregnancy and after childbirth and its effects on child development, as well as fostering international interdisciplinary cooperation.

Dr. Žutić participated in the meetings as a member of several working groups and as the coordinator for young researchers and geographical and gender balance in the project, which involves more than 650 researchers from all over the world. During the meetings at the University of Akureyri, she took part in the activities of several working groups as well as the Action's Core Group—the smaller operational body responsible for strategic coordination, monitoring the implementation of the work plan, and making key organizational and financial decisions.
