Information Day of the Faculty of Medicine Held at CUC

On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, the Campus of the Catholic University of Croatia hosted numerous high school seniors and interested visitors for another Information Day of the Faculty of Medicine.

Introductory speeches and greetings to the seniors and their parents were delivered by the Rector of the University, Professor Željko Tanjić, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Dalibor Karlović. Details regarding the study program were presented to future students by Assistant Professor Momir Futo and Assistant Professor Tihana Magdić Turković. Our students spoke about the actual experience of studying medicine at CUC, and after the lecture, they led the seniors on a tour of the Campus and Faculty premises.

They showcased the modernly equipped laboratories, clinical skills rooms, and lecture halls. During the tour, they answered all questions regarding admissions, classes, and the daily life of medical students at our University.

It was emphasized that the study of medicine at CUC offers "more than a degree" through a strong focus on ethics and communication, teaching students that the patient is, above all, a person, and that their fundamental mission is caring for the sick.

We thank all visitors for coming and for the interest shown – it was a pleasure to see young people who recognize the value of a study program that combines top-tier science with deep humanity. We look forward to seeing many of you in our lecture halls this fall as colleagues and part of our community!
