A delegation from Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University visited our University
On Thursday, February 20, 2025, the Catholic University of Croatia had the honor of hosting a delegation from the Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University from Georgia. The delegation was comprised of prof. Dimitry Gegenava, vice-rector and professor of law, Tsisia Okropiridze, head of the Center for Anti-Discrimination Law and assistant, and Shorena Parunashvili, head of the International Cooperation Office.

During the visit, the guests held a meeting with the University Erasmus+ coordinator, Assoc. prof. Zoran Turza, and with former Erasmus+ coordinators prof. Luka Šešo from the Faculty of Law and prof. Hrvoje Kekez from the University Department of History. The head of the Department for Mobility Programs, Aleksandra Gečević, mag. soc. coordinated the event.
They also met with the rector of the Catholic University of Croatia, prof. Željko Tanjić, vice-rector for international cooperation, prof. Jasna Ćurković Nimac and prof. Hrvoje Štefančić from the Faculty of Engineering.
The meeting discussed the improvement of international cooperation between the two universities, the possibilities of mobility of students and teachers, and the development of joint study programs. Both parties expressed their willingness to strengthen cooperation through the Erasmus+ program.
The Catholic University of Croatia looks forward to future joint projects and continued cooperation that will enrich the academic community and contribute to the development of both institutions!
