Associate Professor Turkalj taught at the "Ludovika Scholars Program" in Budapest

Assoc. Prof. Kristian Turkalj, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Croatia, participated in the Ludovika Scholars Program of the University of Public Administration in Budapest from 27 to 30 April 2025. On that occasion, he held a workshop "What Constitutes a Fair Proceeding in Administrative Justice?" and a lecture on the topic "Digitalization of Judicial Proceedings in Administrative Matters as a Means of Ensuring the Right to a Fair Trial". Teachers from Georgia, Latvia, Moldova and Serbia also participated in the program.

Participation in the program established cooperation between the universities, and discussed modalities of cooperation and the organization of student and teacher mobility. To this end, Prof. Turkalj had separate meetings with the Rector Dr. Gergely Deli and Prof. Réka Varga, Dean of the Faculty of Public Administration and International Studies. He also spoke with the program director Iván Gyurcsík and expressed his desire for the continued participation of HKS representatives in the Ludovika Scholars Program.

During his stay in Budapest, Dean Turkalj also met with Prof. Dr. Láncos Petra Lea, Vice-Dean for International Relations and Head of the Department of EU Law at the Pázmány Peter Catholic University, with the aim of agreeing on the participation of Prof. Láncos in teaching the course Fundamentals of European Public Law at the Faculty of Law of our University.
