Assistant Poslon on the panel about AI in medicine

As part of the 5th Croatian Congress of Menopause Medicine in Zagreb on Friday, October 25, Assistant Poslon took part in an expert panel entitled "Artificial Intelligence in Medicine" that was powered by Health Hub.

Among the panelists was Mario Ravić from AI4Health.Cro and Nikola Tesla, and Robert Likić from Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb. The moderator of the panel was Health Hub's Anita Bujanić. Marina Šprem Goldštajn, from Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb, served as the Congress's president.

Assistant Poslon underlined the significance of transparency and accountability in the application of AI in healthcare, as well as the ethical and epistemological challenges related to trust and patient-physician relationship that come up when using AI in medicine. He also highlighted the findings of the Digit-HeaL Laboratory's research that supports more responsible invention, development, and application of digital technologies in the healthcare.

We anticipate future collaboration and coordinated efforts to find solutions that uphold ethical principles and enhance patient care.
