Ambassador Zrinka Ujević Visits Our University

On Wednesday, 21 May 2025, our University was visited by Ambassador Zrinka Ujević, Head of the Representation of the European Commission (EC) in Croatia, accompanied by her deputy and Head of Media at the Representation, Ms. Andreja Čović Vidović.
 

During the visit, they met with prof. dr. sc. Željko Tanjić, Rector of the Catholic University of Croatia; prof. dr. sc. Danijel Labaš, Head of the University Department of Communication Sciences; and izv. prof. dr. sc. Kristian Turkalj, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law. They discussed the collaboration between the University and the EC Representation, particularly concerning student internships and placements for communication students, as well as potential cooperation related to legal studies, the organization of conferences, and other forms of interinstitutional partnership.
 

Ambassador Ujević also met with mr. sc. Tomislav Murati, Head of the University Library, and on behalf of the EC Representation donated several copies of the book “70 Years of Union Law.” This publication was released by the Legal Service of the European Commission to mark the 70th anniversary of the European Union and will be available to law students for academic use. The book is available in 22 languages, including Croatian, and can also be accessed in electronic format at this link.
