Visit of Assoc. prof. Veronica Riniolo, PhD, as part of Erasmus+ mobility
As part of Erasmus+ mobility, prof. Veronica Riniolo from the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, visited our University and the University Department of Sociology.
During her stay, prof. Riniolo attended numerous meetings with the aim of reviewing and agreeing on further cooperation. She met with the Vice-rector for International Affairs, prof. Jasna Ćurković Nimac, University Erasmus coordinator prof. Zoran Turza and the head of the Department for Mobility Projects, Aleksandra Gečević, mag. soc. et. mag. educ. soc. In addition, meetings were held with the teachers of the University Department of Sociology, including prof. Ph.D. Mario Bara and prof. Josip Ježovita, and the ECTS department coordinator, prof. Miriam Mary Brgles.
On Thursday, October 24, 2024, in the Hall of Blessed Aloysius Card. Stepinac, held a lecture on "Mixed Methods Research" for doctoral students in Sociology: values, identity and social changes in Croatian society, as well as for undergraduate students in sociology. After the lecture, a workshop was held during which students presented their research ideas in teams.
During the visit, prof. Riniolo also visited the University Library, the Laboratory for Psychological Research, the Cabinet of Skills and the Radio and Television Studio, and additionally got acquainted with the educational and research infrastructure of our University.
