Members of the BrAIn Project Research Team at the Conference “Media and the Family in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”

Members of the research team of the BrAIn project participated in the scientific conference “Media and the Family in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”, organised by the Department of Communication Studies at the Catholic University of Croatia. The conference took place on 10 December 2025 at the Catholic University of Croatia. The research team presented selected findings from the study “Use of Digital Technology and the Well-Being of Children and Youth”, conducted between January and May 2025 within the framework of the project.

Assistant Professor Lana Batinić presented a paper titled “Artificial Intelligence in Schools from the Perspective of Parents: The Role of Digital and AI Literacy”. Her presentation focused on parents’ perceptions regarding the introduction and use of artificial intelligence in their children's education, based on data collected through questionnaires and focus groups.
Assistant Professor Mario Pandžić presented a paper titled “The Relationship Between Students’ Perceived Ease of Use and Usefulness, Frequency, and Positive Outcomes of Using Digital Tools and Applications in School and Learning”, focusing on data gathered from student questionnaires.
Associate Professor Marija Šakić Velić presented a paper titled “Selected Determinants of Teachers’ Perceptions of the Usefulness of Digital Technologies in Teaching and Learning”, drawing on data collected through questionnaires administered to teachers.
