Guest Lecture by Andrea Vodanović, Deputy Government Spokesperson of the Republic of Croatia

On Monday, 8 December 2025, within the course “Political Communication,” students were joined by guest lecturer Andrea Vodanović, Deputy Spokesperson of the Government of the Republic of Croatia.

Through an engaging presentation, she introduced second-year graduate students of Communication Studies to the structure and organization of the Government’s Public Relations Office, as well as to the various communication activities involved in its day-to-day work, with a particular focus on media relations.

Ms. Vodanović highlighted the challenges and specific characteristics of communication work in the public sector and shared a number of practical insights for students preparing for careers in public relations, emphasizing truthful communication and the continuous development of rhetorical skills as the most important professional principles.
