First day of classes for the graduate programmes in Nursing and Midwifery

Classes for the 2026/2027 academic year began on October 1, 2026, at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Catholic University of Croatia for students enrolled in the university graduate programmes in Nursing and Midwifery.

This day holds special significance for our university community. With the enrolment of the first generation of students in the graduate programme in Midwifery, the Catholic University of Croatia has opened a new chapter in its history. The programme is the result of years of dedicated work by the Faculty’s academic staff and associates. Its launch represents an important contribution to the development of the midwifery profession and the education of highly qualified professionals.

Students were introduced to the organisation of classes, academic staff and associates, as well as the opportunities offered by the Faculty and the University throughout their studies.

We wish all students a successful start to the academic year, along with plenty of knowledge, patience and joy as they pursue a profession rooted in caring for others and serving those in need.
