Teaching Assistant Lovro Knežević Participates in the International Conference EDULEARN26

Teaching assistant Lovro Knežević, M.Sc. Soc., from the University Department of Sociology, participated in the 18th International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies (EDULEARN26), held from June 29 to July 1, 2026, in Palma de Mallorca.
 

He presented a paper titled "Social Acceleration in Education: Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies in Croatian Schools from the Perspective of Pupils and Teachers," co-authored with the research team of the BrAIn project.
 

Through an analysis of the experiences of students and teachers in Croatian elementary and secondary schools, the paper explores the issue of social acceleration and alienation in digital environments, highlighting the importance of building meaningful relationships in teaching that place technology in the service of deeper understanding.
