Medical School Students Awarded for the 2024/2025 Academic Year

On Monday, 29 September 2025, the fifth Day of the School of Medicine of the Catholic University of Croatia was celebrated with an official ceremony.

The Dean’s Awards for the best academic achievement in the 2024/2025 academic year were presented to the following students:
• Nejla Bektić, first-year student of the integrated undergraduate and graduate university study programme in Medicine (weighted grade point average: 4.683)
• Andrea Dropuljić, second-year student of the integrated undergraduate and graduate university study programme in Medicine (weighted grade point average: 4.717)
• Lucija Čulo, third-year student of the integrated undergraduate and graduate university study programme in Medicine (weighted grade point average: 4.783)
• Mihovil Lakoš, fourth-year student of the integrated undergraduate and graduate university study programme in Medicine (weighted grade point average: 4.883)

The St. Vincent de Paul Award for socially beneficial work in the academic and wider community during the 2024/2025 academic year was presented to a group of students: Jana Buzuk, Bianka Dujić, Paola Gabrić, Marija Gagić, Marko Paun, Leona Periša, Šimun Petar Praljak, Lucij Radić, Ante Bruno Znaor, and Ante Tomkić.

The group of fourth-year students from the integrated undergraduate and graduate university study programme in Medicine participated with independent presentations at the 4th Symposium on Diabetes, Cardiology, Nutrition and Endo-Oncology in Zagreb. Their presentations received notable recognition and significantly contributed to the promotion of biomedical sciences, the medical profession, and the visibility of the Medicine study programme and the School of Medicine of the Catholic University of Croatia.
