Guest lecture by TEVA's global procurement manager to sociology students
At the introductory lecture in the course "Fundamentals of Macroeconomics", taught by Assoc. prof. Petra Palić, PhD, was hosted by Petra Mirković, doctoral student of the doctoral program in Sociology. Petra Mirković is employed in the position of Decision Support Manager in Global Procurement at Teva Pharmaceuticals. She gave a lecture on the topic "From diploma to career: How sociologists build their professional path" to students of the first and second year of the university graduate study of Sociology.

Petra Mirković shared her experiences in building a professional career, highlighting the key challenges and opportunities that sociologists face on the labor market. She placed special emphasis on the job search process, candidate selection methods and practical advice for successful entry into the labor market. She provided students with valuable insights into the various professional paths available to sociologists, pointing out the importance of developing additional skills, networking and adaptability in a dynamic business environment.
