CUC representatives at the "Three Seas Initiative" conference in Lublin
Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Prof. Jasna Ćurković Nimac, PhD, and Assoc. Prof. Ivana Bičanić, PhD, from the School of Medicine of the Catholic University of Croatia participated in the Three Seas Initiative conference, which was held in Lublin on 12 and 13 March 2025.

The Three Seas Initiative was launched in the summer of 2016 at the Polish-Croatian meeting of the President in Dubrovnik, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and Andrzej Duda, and includes a political and economic platform that brings together 12 countries located between the Baltic, Black and Adriatic Seas. The aim of the initiative is to encourage cooperation in the field of energy, transport and digital infrastructure, as well as education, with an emphasis on strengthening connectivity and economic development of the region. The conference of the Three Seas Initiative in the part of education offers scientists the opportunity to contribute to development through the exchange of ideas and experiences and the building of partnerships. Vice-Rector Ćurković Nimac participated in the panel Education and cooperation – values that connect: Leveraging the potential of the Three Seas Initiative and the Erasmus+ program for the region’s future, and Assistant Professor Bičanić in the panel Artificial Intelligence in Medicine: Innovations, Legal, and Ethical Challenges in the Future of Healthcare.
