CUC External Associate Professor Marina Čubrić Receives Lifetime Achievement Award
The "Ivan Filipović" Award Committee, appointed by a decision of the Croatian Parliament, has awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in the field of secondary school education to Professor Marina Čubrić from the Archdiocesan Classical Gymnasium in Zagreb.
Professor Čubrić is an external associate of the Catholic University of Croatia in the "Croatian Language for Foreigners" lifelong learning program. During this semester, alongside professors Mila Mikecin and Anna Komarytsia, she has been teaching a group of foreign citizens who have decided to learn Croatian as a foreign language for employment purposes or long-term residence in the Republic of Croatia.
This beloved professor has taught many of our students who graduated from the Archdiocesan Classical Gymnasium. More recently, high school seniors particularly recognize her for helping them prepare for their state matura graduation exams on Croatian Radio through the show Radio#matura.
We congratulate Professor Čubrić on this valuable award and thank her for enriching our University with her knowledge, experience, enthusiasm, and love for the Croatian language!
