Cooperation Agreement Signed with the Development and Educational Center for the Metal Industry – Metalska Jezgra Čakovec

On Monday, July 13, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering of the Catholic University of Croatia and the Development and Educational Center for the Metal Industry – Metalska Jezgra Čakovec signed a Cooperation Agreement.
 

The agreement was signed by Professor Zlatan Car, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of the Catholic University of Croatia, and Mario Šercer, PhD, Director of the Development and Educational Center for the Metal Industry – Metalska Jezgra Čakovec.

The agreement establishes a framework for joint action in areas of mutual interest, especially in:

• cooperation on scientific-research and development projects,

• the transfer of knowledge and technologies, and cooperation with the business sector,

• the implementation of professional internships and student projects,

• the joint organization of professional and scientific conferences, workshops, and educational programs,

• the exchange of experts and the utilization of research and laboratory infrastructure.

By signing this Agreement, the Faculty of Engineering continues to strengthen partnerships with leading development and technology institutions in the Republic of Croatia, linking educational and research work with the needs of the industry.
