Communication studies students visited Laudato television

On Thursday, January 23, 2025, students of the third year of the university undergraduate study of Communication Studies of the Catholic University of Croatia visited together with Assoc. prof. Anto Mikić, PhD, Laudato television, where they learned firsthand what it looks like to work behind the cameras, but also what it means to stand in front of them.

They were welcomed by the director of Laudato Television, Ksenija Abramović, who introduced them to the development of this Catholic media company. The goal of their visit was to get to know the work of television, its organization and way of functioning. During the tour, the students visited key departments such as the studio where the shows are recorded, newsrooms, technicians, the marketing office, editing areas, and the multimedia and technical office. Students asked numerous questions to which employees answered, explaining the importance of teamwork and creativity in creating a quality program. The bravest students dared to stand in front of the cameras and record a short ten-minute show "Separated" in which they presented their studies. Some of the students expressed their desire to spend their internship on Laudato television, which the employees enthusiastically accepted.

The visit ended in the television chapel, where the students stayed for a short prayer.
