Call for Applications Opened for Student Scholarships of the Diocesan Foundation "Fra Bonifacije Ivan Pavletić"

IKA reports that on Monday, October 19, the Diocese of Sisak adopted a decision to issue a call for applications for student scholarships awarded by the Diocesan Foundation "Fra Bonifacije Ivan Pavletić" for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Eligible applicants must be students holding Croatian citizenship residing within the Diocese of Sisak and enrolled at a higher education institution in the Republic of Croatia. First-year undergraduate students must have a minimum grade point average of 4.0 in the final two years of high school and a minimum average grade of 3.5 on the compulsory parts of the State Matura; students in their second year of study and above must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5, as must postgraduate students, provided they do not already receive a scholarship or other financial grant for this academic year.

Along with the formal application request, candidates must submit a photocopy of their national ID card, an enrollment certificate confirming full-time student status in the 2026/2027 academic year, an official academic transcript confirming GPA to date (for upper-year students), photocopies of report cards for the final two years of high school (for first-year students), a photocopy of the State Matura certificate (for first-year students), a household composition statement, a Tax Administration certificate of income for all household members, an employer's certificate of monthly income for employed household members covering the three months preceding the call, an Employment Service certificate for unemployed household members, proof of awards and achievements in competitions, documentation of special family circumstances, and a recommendation letter from their parish priest.

The list of scholarship recipients for this academic year will be published on the diocese website at the end of November.

The call for applications is open from October 19 to November 2, 2026, as announced by the Public Relations Office of the Diocese of Sisak.
