Visit of the representative of "Paisii Hilendarski" University in Plovdiv

As part of the Erasmus+ program, the Catholic University of Croatia hosted María Vidalova from the "Paisii Hilendarski" University in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, from 7 to 11 April 2025, as part of a staff training mobility.
 

During her stay, she met with the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Jasna Ćurković Nimac, the University Coordinator of Student Mobility, Assoc. Prof. Zoran Turza, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law, Assoc. Prof. Kristijan Turkalj, ECTS Coordinator of the University Department of Sociology, Assist. Prof. Miriam Mary Brgles, and with Aleksandra Gečević, Mag. Soc. et Mag. Educ. Soc., Head of the Department for Mobility Programs.

The meetings discussed examples of good practice in international academic cooperation, the opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ program, and potential future exchanges of students and faculty between the two universities.
 

During her mobility, she had the opportunity to visit the university campus and learn more about the specifics and methods of implementing the Erasmus+ program at the Catholic University of Croatia.
 

She also presented the University "Paisii Hilendarski" to the students of our University and informed about the possibility of five sociology students participating in the Water and the Future summer school, which will be held in Plovdiv from June 30 to July 4, 2025. We look forward to continued successful cooperation!
