Meeting Between Dean Turkalj and Cardinal Bozanić

Cardinal Josip Bozanić, Archbishop Emeritus of Zagreb, met on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, with Associate Professor Kristian Turkalj, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Croatia, and Professor Davor Vidas, PhD, Advisor to the Rector for Legal Science and Law Program Development.
 

During the cordial meeting, they discussed the work plan and future activities of the Faculty of Law, which was established by the Senate's Decision on November 12, 2024. This marked the culmination of years of preparation and conceptualization of the university's integrated undergraduate and graduate law program, which involved numerous domestic and foreign scientists, legal practitioners, and law students.
 

In the 2026/2027 academic year, the second generation of students will begin their studies at the CUC Faculty of Law.

Cardinal Bozanić presented them with a medal featuring the image of St. John Paul II, while Dean Turkalj and Professor Vidas presented the Cardinal with the university textbook European Union Law.
