Medical Students Visited the “Experience Europe” Center

On Tuesday, September 30, third-year medical students, as part of the course Medical Humanities 3 (Medical Sociology), accompanied by their lecturer Dr. Anamaria Malešević, visited the Experience Europe Center, where they took part in a role-play simulation as Members of the European Parliament.
 

The students had the opportunity to learn about European institutions and to see, through practical examples, how the decision-making process works and how the decisions adopted at the European Union level affect the everyday life and health of citizens. They developed strategies together, engaged in reasoned debates, conducted research, spoke with representatives of the public and the scientific community, responded to questions from journalists, and took part in media confrontations. These activities allowed them to apply theoretical knowledge about the social aspects of health in practice, as well as to gain experience in public speaking and debate.
