Medical students and teachers participated in the First International Congress of Doctors and Students in Nephrology

From April 10 to 13, 2025, the 1st International Congress of Physicians and Students in Nephrology entitled "Kidney in Focus - Young Physicians Leading the Way" was held at the Hotel International in Zagreb. The congress was organized by the Croatian Kidney Society (HDB), headed by the president, Prof. Nikolina Bašić Jukić, and was attended by medical students, as well as students of other studies from our country and abroad.

Students from the School of Medicine of the Catholic University of Croatia participated with a total of 14 abstracts in the field of nephrology, of which seven were selected for oral presentation and seven for poster presentation. The main mentor of the students was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Josipa Josipović, MD, and other colleagues from the MEF helped in the preparation of the students and the selection of topics: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Iva Ivanko, MD, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivo Darko Gabrić, MD, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bernardica Valent Morić, MD, and assistant Vinka Vukosav, MD.
