About the Handbook
This edition provides a structured and practical overview of procedures and decision-making in the management of acute gynecological and obstetric conditions outside hospital settings.
The handbook is intended primarily for nurses and technicians specialized in emergency medicine, but also for all healthcare professionals who encounter gynecological emergencies in their practice, including midwives and medical doctors specializing in or already specialized in emergency medicine and gynecology and obstetrics.

The handbook offers:

Step-by-step structured decision-making and procedures
A practical tool for the safe and timely application of knowledge in practice
The presentation of this handbook marks an important step in improving the quality and safety of care, reducing the time to the start of treatment, and ensuring better outcomes for patients.
