Focus Groups with Parents Begin in Our Laboratory for Psychological Research

In cooperation with the University of Zadar, a series of focus groups with parents began on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, in the Laboratory for Psychological Research at our University.

Assoc. Prof. Sandra Nakić Radoš, Ph.D., from the University Department of Psychology, is a collaborator on the research project “Intensive Parenting: Parental Well-Being and Developmental Outcomes in Children (INTERD)”, led by Assoc. Prof. Ivana Macuka, Ph.D., and funded by the University of Zadar through the NextGenerationEU fund.

The focus groups with parents will also be conducted in Zadar and Split with parents of children from different age groups, and the first focus group was held in our Laboratory. The goal of the project’s qualitative phase, carried out through focus groups, is to gain deeper insight into the emerging phenomenon of intensive parenting, which will inform later project phases and the quantitative part of the research.

More information about the INTERD project is available here, and its implementation and results can be followed on the project’s Facebook and Instagram profiles.
