First-Year Psychology Student Leona Garac Wins Bronze at the World Cup

Leona Garac, a first-year undergraduate student of psychology at our University, won a bronze medal in the supersprint discipline at the World Cup in roller skiing held in Val di Fiemme, Italy!

This is Leona’s first senior season and her first senior medal at a major competition, but her sporting achievements go back much further — you can read more about them on the Facebook page of her Ski Club Sljeme. Leona is a professional cross-country skier, and we have no doubt that she will carry her remarkable athletic success into her academic pursuits as well.
