Assistant Lovro Knežević participated in the ECQI conference in Athens
Assistant Lovro Knežević, univ. mag. soc., from the University Department of Sociology, participated on January 14 in the international conference European Congress of Qualitative Inquiry (ECQI) in Athens with a poster presentation entitled “Social imaginaries of school principals about AI in future education: a study from Croatia.”
In collaboration with co-authors Josip Ježovita, Miriam Mary Brgles, Marina Merkaš, Lana Batinić, Lana Ciboci Perša, Ana Haramina, and Ana Žulec Ivanković, a portion of the results from interviews with primary and secondary school principals was presented. These interviews were conducted as part of the pilot research for the BrAIn project.
The results presented at the conference highlight principals’ perceptions of artificial intelligence in education. In addition to contributing to a better understanding of educational processes and digital transition, participation in the conference also enhanced the international visibility of the BrAIn project and the research activities carried out at our University.
