UniCath Dialogues – "The Splendor and Vulnerability of Humanity"

On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, starting at 6:30 PM, the theological forum "UniCath Dialogues" will take place in the newly renovated Rectorate Building at the Catholic University of Croatia, marking the first in a new series of panel forums scheduled over the coming months.
The theme of this forum is "The Splendor and Vulnerability of Humanity," and the inaugural panelists for this academic year will be Prof. Nenad Malović, PhD, and Asst. Prof. Kristina Vujica, PhD.
The UniCath Dialogues (theological forums) of the Catholic University of Croatia open an academic space to engage with pivotal theological questions of the Catholic faith and its role in shaping humanity and community. In an equally broad sense, they raise questions about humanity and human community that actively shape the Catholic faith.
These forums serve as a locus of inclusivity, contemplation, and dialogical tension through thought, word, encounter, and the quest for that single unity (uni-versitas) in which the understanding of the human person and the surrounding world converges. Catholicity (cath) illuminates that which is universal and unitive, emphasizing what binds and connects in openness toward the fullness of the human experience. The open horizons of dialogical thought are grasped within the dynamic of internal and external dialogue, entailing a committed engagement with incisive inquiries and the truth that "wounds."
Although held within the embrace of the academic community, the forums are open to the general public and all interested participants.
