University Nursing Department Implements State-of-the-Art IBIS System in Practical Teaching

At the University Department of Nursing, a hospital information system (IBIS) has been successfully implemented, enabling students to work in an administrative application identical to the one used in real hospital conditions during practical and professional courses.

Thanks to this breakthrough, students have the opportunity to learn through various simulations of working with medical documentation – from entering patient data, maintaining complete nursing documentation to planning healthcare and recording vital signs. Through this type of teaching, students develop digital competencies and acquire the skills necessary for independent and responsible operation in the healthcare system.

As both teachers and students point out, everyone is enthusiastic about the new opportunity for learning through practice, which realistically depicts the challenges and responsibilities of everyday work of healthcare professionals. This initiative confirms the University Department of Nursing's commitment to excellence in education, integration of modern technology, and strengthening the competencies of future nursing graduates.
