Representatives of the Faculty of Health Studies at the Course “Specifics of Care for People with Diabetes”

On Saturday, 11 November 2025, a Category II course titled “Specifics of Care for People with Diabetes: Step by Step” for nurses and medical technicians was held in Zagreb, co-organized by the Faculty of Health Studies of the Catholic University of Croatia. On behalf of the Dean of the Faculty of Health Studies, Assistant Professor Ivica Matić, the participants were greeted by Assistant Professor Dr. Vilma Kolarić.

The course included a series of engaging lectures and workshops focusing on obesity and treatment approaches. Topics addressed included diabetic foot as one of the major complications of diabetes, modern treatment methods, varicocele in young men, and other aspects of the disease. Nurses from the University Clinic Vuk Vrhovac also presented a range of innovative practices introduced into daily nursing work, many of which are independently performed by nurses themselves.
