Psychology Professors Participated in the ECDP Conference in Lithuania
Senior Assistant Ana Žulec Ivanković and Assistant Matea Bodrožić Selak from the Department of Psychology took part in the European Conference on Developmental Psychology 2025 (ECDP 2025), held from 25 to 29 August 2025 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Dr. Ana Žulec Ivanković delivered an oral presentation on the progress of the international project “Smartphone Use, Sleep, and Mood: A Cross-Cultural Study on the Role of Emotion Regulation”, led by Assoc. Prof. Stefanos Mastrotheodoros from the University of Crete, Greece, in which she participates together with Assoc. Prof. Marina Merkaš.

Through a poster presentation entitled “The Use of AI Technologies, AI Literacy, and the Well-Being of Pupils in Croatia”, Dr. Žulec Ivanković also presented part of the pilot study results conducted within the project Application of Artificial Intelligence-Based Digital Technologies in Education – BrAIn, coordinated by the Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNET.

Assistant Matea Bodrožić Selak, mag. psych., presented the results of a longitudinal study conducted within the project Digital Technology in the Family: Patterns of Behavior and Effects on Child Development (D.E.C.I.D.E.) through an oral presentation entitled “Children’s Smartphone Use and Parent-Child Conflicts: The Moderating Role of Hyperactivity.”

She also presented the paper “Validation of the Adult Executive Functioning Inventory on a Sample of Fathers from the Croatian Population” in the form of a poster presentation.
