Win a scholarship and become future ESG leaders
The International Institute for Climate Action (IICA) has launched a competition for female final year students who want a certificate and internship in the ESG field
The International Institute for Climate Action (IICA), together with its Women Green Leaders Club (WGLC), which consists of well-known and recognized female leaders of the green transition, is announcing a call for applications for scholarships under the title "WGLC for Future Green Leaders", aimed at female final year university students with a strong interest in sustainable development, ecology, environmental protection and climate change. The call runs from 1 April to 1 May 2025.

This unique competition is aimed at young women who want to become future leaders in the fields of sustainability, climate change and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and provides them with the opportunity for internationally recognized online education and practical experiences lasting one month.
Applications are made via the website www.iica-hr.eu, and female students are required to submit a CV and a motivation letter (maximum 500 words) in Croatian and English.
After the applications are closed, a pre-selection process will follow, during which the ten best candidates will be selected and invited for an interview. The final results of the competition will be announced by May 30, and the award ceremony for the three scholarships will be held as part of the prestigious IICA Future Green Business Conference at the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb on June 6, 2025.
"With this competition, we want to provide young women with concrete tools and knowledge that will help them become recognizable leaders in the ESG field. We are aware of how crucial it is to invest in a new generation of experts who will actively contribute to environmental protection, social responsibility and sustainable management," emphasized Marija Pujo Tadić, President of the International Institute for Climate Action (IICA).
Awards for the best candidates include certificates for internationally recognized online ESG training and a one-month internship, providing the fellows with an exceptional opportunity for professional growth and career development in the ESG field.
