IFCU Board of Directors meeting held in Paris

The meeting of the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU) was held in Paris on Friday, April 25, 2025. On behalf of the Croatian Catholic University, the meeting was attended by the Rector of CUC, Prof. Željko Tanjić.

The meeting began with a prayer for the late Pope Francis and a review of his relationship with Catholic universities, education and the upbringing of young people. With special gratitude, they remembered all the meetings with the Holy Father as well as the encouragement for the evangelical and educational work of Catholic universities.

At this meeting, the Governing Council adopted the financial report, the report of the IFCU President, Prof. Dr. sc. Isabel Capeloa Gil, decisions were made on the admission of new members and the final program of the IFCU General Assembly, which will be held this year at the end of July in Guadalajara, Mexico, was agreed.
